Even longer ago, Cygames announced a collaboration with action game experts PlatinumGames for a large scale PlayStation 4 RPG called Granblue Fantasy Relink. Just a few months ago, Cygames and Arc System Works announced a fighting game using characters from the title. It'll launch first on PS4 and we'll hopefully hear about other potential ports soon after.Granblue Fantasy, a popular Japanese mobile RPG from Cygames, has been exploding into different types of games recently. It's worth noting that no PC version has been announced but Cygames did express interest in bringing it to Steam at some point.Īdditionally, prolific fighting game developer Arc System Works is creating a core fighting game based on the Granblue series it'll be titled Granblue Fantasy Versus. The mobile director behind Granblue Fantasy gave fans plenty of details on the game's accessibility as well as a potential PC version.Īs previously mentioned, Granblue Fantasy Relink currently has no set release date. Additionally, the development team shared a ton of details on the game's storyline, multiplayer, and a PC version. This footage alone made it one of my most anticipated JRPGs. In case you missed it, Cygames revealed a deep look at a dungeon in Granblue Fantasy Relink back in December. Granblue Fantasy Relink was originally slated for a 2018 release but has since been pushed back no official date has been given since. Granblue Fantasy: Relink should still be coming soon so I'm sure not much has to change in terms of the development process. I don't think fans have too much to worry about though. Obviously, the two companies have parted ways on their collaborative development of the upcoming title.
